Telehealth is a new area for therapist working with older adults. It has been approved for payment by Medicare. The opportunity to use this modality to provide care to older adults is limitless but therapist must continue to provide optimal care in this arena, and it is different than face to face clinical care.

Introduction- preparing for the first visit- 5 minutes
Tests for different problems that can be done easily via telehealth- 30 minutes
Exercises for different problems that can be done easily via telehealth- 25 minutes
Real Older patient telehealth session with debrief and sample documentation- 1 hour
Upon completion of the course, a certificate of completion for 2 contact hours of educational credit will be awarded.
