Telehealth for PT

Learn from an Expert Working with Real Patients

This course is more than just a review of billing and regulations for Telehealth.

It shows you how to really do it – with confidence and skill.

You’ll get the nuts and bolts of how to effectively use telehealth and it will provide answers to your questions about payment and technical considerations.  However, the majority of the course consists of watching one of the Nation’s leading telehealth experts, who has worked full-time in telehealth since 2017, work with real patients ages 26-78. You’ll see patient examinations and interventions delivered remotely encompassing man of the top diagnoses seen by physical therapists (neck, shoulder, and knee pain) as well as a lower extremity injury. In addition, Dr. Carole Lewis asks questions and provides insights as Dr. Norwood shares his expertise.

Todd Norwood, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS, clinical director and telehealth therapist, uses an encouraging, engaging style as he demonstrates his favorite evaluation and treatment techniques while working with 3 real patients. The course is loaded with usable handouts including:

  • Electronic exercise handouts
  • Telehealth Resources
  • Functional Tools
  • Informed Consent Form
  • First Visit Checklist
  • Keep It Simple Documentation
  • Billing

Telehealth can be a full-time practice for physical therapists, but it can also be a great tool to supplement face to face care.  Add Telehealth to your PT toolbox.
