Treating a Patient with Back Pain


Watching a seasoned telehealth therapist in action is a great way to find out what telehealth looks like and how it works in the real world.  Dr. Todd Norwood DPT, OCS, SCS takes you through a complete initial visit with a new patient who has back pain. You will observe Dr. Norwood demonstrate evaluation and intervention skills via telehealth and you will see how to use tests that can be completed remotely. This telehealth test drive allows you to see what’s possible and if telehealth is right for you.

Initial visit via telehealth (55 min)

Session Debrief (5 min)

Upon completion of the course the participant will be able to

  1. Discuss the components of an initial telehealth visit
  2. Describe the positive characteristics of physical therapist examiner
  3. Demonstrate two tests that can be done in telehealth

Upon completion of the course, a certificate of completion for 1 contact hours of educational credit will be awarded.
