Carolyn Padalino is a Physical Therapist practicing with Life Care Centers of America. She received her doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2005. Carolyn was certified as an Exercise Expert for the Aging Adult through the American Physical Therapy Association’s Section on Geriatrics in 2009. In addition, she was certified as a trainer for the Center of Evidence in 2011. Carolyn’s clinical practice includes working with the pediatric population through early intervention, the schools, hippotherapy and aquatic therapy. Over the past 5 years, her primary focus has been in the geriatric population, with a focus in increasing the quality of care through evidence based treatment interventions. She presents to the second year students at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga regarding treatment approaches for patients with Dementia and Alzheimer’s. Carolyn is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Section on Geriatrics, and is certified as a Clinical Instructor by the American Physical Therapy Association.
