Cathey Norton, PT, DPT, NCS is currently on staff at Pi Beta Phi Rehabilitation Institute at the Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center. Her clinical experience encompasses a variety of patient populations in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. She developed Vestibular and Facial Rehabilitation programs at Vanderbilt. Her practice is in the area of facial rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, balance, and falls prevention. She received her Bachelor of Science and Physical Therapy degree in 1986 from Texas Woman’s University and her Doctorate in Physical therapy from the NeuroRecovery Training Institute in 2017. She received her Vestibular Competency Certification in 2001, Pediatric Vestibular Rehabilitation Competency in 2012, and Neurologic Clinical Specialty certification in 2018. She has presented at the local, state and nation level on concussion, vestibular rehabilitation, facial rehabilitation, balance, and falls prevention. She serves as the Site Coordinator of Clinical Education and a mentor in the Neurologic Clinical Residency at Pi Beta Phi Rehabilitation Institute and Belmont University.
