Watch an extensive case in action of a gentleman who is frail working with a master clinician who is subtly and dynamically addresses this patients issues. Our frail patients desperately need our help, but until this course, no one had put together the information in a usable format to points the way to greater success with this population.
Frailty is a common condition in older adults typified by a reduced ability to tolerate even mild systemic or environmental stressors. Exercise programs have been shown to be effective in reducing the disability and complications associated with frailty. As the number of frail older adults increases, it is essential that clinicians become adept in evaluation and treatment this populations. This course will present to the clinician what is meant by the term frailty, how frailty is diagnosed, evaluated, and effectively managed. Didactic content will be used followed by extensive patient demonstrations.

“I loved the evaluation of Ralph and how Herb Karpatkin gently educated Ralph and improved his mobility in one session. It was a beautiful thing to watch. It was refreshing to see someone make a change that quickly and to learn that therapy interventions can improve frail adults.”
“Solid information on frailty and shows easy ways to incorporate into physical exam – example the prolonged phonation.”
