Meadow Deason, OTD, OTR/L, CEES is a practicing occupational therapist at Renown Rehabilitation Hospital in Reno, Nevada. Meadow works as part of an interdisciplinary team to increase the independence of patients with a variety of neurological, neurodegenerative, and orthopedic diagnoses. In her current role, Meadow has assisted in developing a home evaluation standard procedure and discharge caregiver training. Meadow has applied her doctoral research in non-pharmacological pain management to develop a pain management patient education course presented in both individual and group sessions. Meadow came to occupational therapy with wealth of professional experience as a business owner, business manager, certified family teacher, family support worker and early childhood interventionist.
