Mike decided to leave the world of law enforcement in 2008 and go back to school to pursue a career as a Physical Therapist Assistant. He graduated from Volunteer State Community College in 2009 and went to work with Kathy in Home Health. Mike was an adjunct faculty member at his alma mater for several years teaching physics for the health sciences professional. He has also served as a clinical instructor for Volunteer State PTA students. In 2020, he and his wife Kathy Fagan opened their own outpatient clinic with a specialization in geriatrics. He is currently continuing his education with a specialization in Geriatrics (working toward a GTCCS) and is also an EOLD (End of Life Doula).
