Real Patients. Real Master Clinicians. Real-Time Clinical Reasoning: The PT/PTA Team in Action

May 2, 2026

What do expert clinicians think about while treating complex patients?

Most professional education teaches what to do—but not the clinical decision-making that happens in real time with real patients. This course fills that gap.

Join Mike and Kathy Fagan, an exemplary PT/PTA team, as they demonstrate a live patient case and openly share the why behind every choice they make. Through a real patient case, the session will pause at key moments to explain clinical reasoning, treatment progression, and decision points—including what they are watching for, adjusting, and planning next.

Participants will engage in open discussion, ask questions throughout the session, and have an opportunity if they want to share some of their own patient cases for collaborative problem-solving. Dedicated segments are reserved specifically for participant cases; additional cases will be provided if needed. This interactive format allows you to refine your approach, explore treatment “tweaks,” and strengthen outcomes in your own clinical practice.

Dr. Carole Lewis and Janene Barner will contribute their expertise throughout the course and serve as moderators, guiding discussion and ensuring a high-value learning experience.
